About YaZoom.co.nz

Yazoom is backed by Brand Developers Ltd, the company that runs TV Shop, one of the most successful direct marketing TV companies in the Southern Hemisphere.

You'll be familiar with our products and brands: Thin Lizzy cosmetics, The Ab Circle Pro, and the Transforma Ladder System are among our best-sellers.

Over the years our New Zealand and Australian marketing has developed a powerful base of active TV shoppers: around 1.6 million of them.

The inspiration for establishing Yazoom came from two of the world's biggest success stories: QVC, the world's best home-shopping channel. Their "Today's Special value" offers strongly influenced the thinking that lay behind the establishment of the Groupon phenomena in the USA - taking the daily televised offer, and putting it online.

Yazoom Commitment

We will always deal with you openly, honestly, and with integrity. If we mess-up (No, we’re not perfect. Yet.) get in touch with us and we’ll return your purchase. You can’t say fairer than that.

Why? Because of what we say in our Core Values statement: "We value honesty. Tell us if you're not happy with our service, and we'll fix it. Mind you, that won't happen, because our service is outstanding and flawless. And since honesty is one of our Core Values, we must be telling the truth."

We're in business to do the right thing by our customers and our clients. So we've made a conscious decision to trust you, and to remove as many obstacles as we can. We’re trying to keep it simple, but if it’s getting complicated please tell us.

We want you to be able to tell people that your experience with Yazoom has been a good experience. Even if we stuff up. We're human, so it may happen. So, if it does happen, just call us. We want to make it right.

But remember we’re only the piggy-in-the-middle! We’re only acting on behalf of the business. Yazoom is not the actual business. Don’t shoot the messenger and all that jazz, especially if the messenger is us. The merchant should always be your first port of call if you have a query or concern about your experience. And because we only put nice people and great businesses on Yazoom, we will help you resolve any issues you have when trying to redeem your offer. We're all about open, honest discussion, so if you want to learn more about our full terms and conditions they are right here. Yep, in broad daylight, for all to see.

We want our Yazoomers to have nothing but best; the best experiences in the best cities with the best businesses, bar none. That includes your experience on our site and with our staff. If we're not up to scratch please tell us. We want to fix it for you.

So there you are. It's a simple promise. And we will honour it. Expect nothing less from Yazoom.

Paul Meier,
Managing Director

on 17th August I responsded to your deal to “enjoy a Delicious Breakfast with a Freiend in a Beautiful Garden Seeting for $19 (Value47) which was 60% off breadfast and coffee for two at Kings Garden Cafe. This was the first time I had used your site. I attempted to buy two tickets @ $19. I had email response back from noreply@yazoon.co.nz with no tickets attached. I thought that I had completed the attempt to buy the tickets incorrected and therefore had been unsuccessful. However, now I have received by Credit Card Statement and find that on the 17th August “Yazoom North shore C has debited the amount of $38.00. So I have paid for a deal that I have not received tickets for. I would be pleased to hear back from you.

Hi John, this webpage isn’t a direct line to Yazoom, but I’ll see what I can do.

Dear John,

Thank you for your feedback regarding your purchase. I would like to confirm that your purchase was successful on the 17th August. The email that you received was confirmation of that purchase, with a link that would direct you to the Yazoom page where you can download your coupons whenever you choose to redeem them. We do not send coupons via emails.

If you log in to Yazoom, on the top right hand corner you will see a button that reads “My Yazoom” – under which you will see “My Coupons” and by selecting that you will see your coupons and can download and print them.

Hope this information is useful. If you have any further issues, please feel free to email us at customercare@yazoom.co.nz and we will be more than happy to assist you :-)

Regards,
Merlin

Regarding the above deal for Kings Garden Cafe Remuera, I’d purchased vouchers with the understanding that up to two people would receive $60 worth of food for $19 as per the comments/answers from the “Join the Discussion” section of this deal offered on 7/9/2011.

I redeemed my first voucher with a friend today and staff at Kings Garden café refused to supply $60 worth of food, but rather, offered strictly just one main dish from the menu per person plus one glass of wine (or tea/coffee, but NO desserts or fruit juices allowed for which the discussion section indicated otherwise). Under their terms, it worked out to be approx $43. Their most expensive item on the menu was just $18 when we were there. Forget the advertised picture of the nice fish dish – does not exist, totally misleading!

I still have screen shots of the “Join the Discussion” section and I purchased multiple vouchers on the basis of what was said in there – $60 worth of food from the menu for $19.

Kings Garden will not honour the deal and I’ve been mislead. I’d be interested in how many others who have experienced the same issue.

I’ve tried calling and e-mailing Yazoom Support to no avail.

Has anyone else experienced the same? Thanks in advance for any comments or replies.
