Hi Sheila

All experience sites have contact forms for retailers who want to offer a deal, just choose one that is already operating in your city.

Expect to offer a 50% discount to consumers, minus another 12-30% to the daily deal site.

Hi all

I run an Indian Restaurant & thinking about getting up my deal with any experience site. Can anyone advise me where to go & how do they calculate/charge their commission?

Thanks

Hi Josephine

In this case, I think the retailer should have honoured the voucher even though it's past the expiry. It's just good customer service. The alternative is to annoy you, and when is that ever a good move?

And Yazoom did get stuck in the middle on this one, but I think even they should have provided you with Yazoom credit to use on another deal later, after the Restaurant burnt you. Again, they could lose you as a customer or retain your loyalty by making that move.

I agree with Peter on this one, if I buy a lettuce and put it in the fridge then forget to eat it until its past its best by date, I would never expect to get a new one from the supermarket! While it is really sad and unfortunate, if companies continued to reward people for their own mistakes they would go broke in five minutes! It seems to me these days that people expect too much "customer service" and "goodwill" from businesses to the point where if they don't get exceptional service and free stuff they get slammed in places like this ....

Sorry Josephine,

But in my opinion, that is not Yazoom's fault. If you misplace a voucher, that is your responsibility - that is not their problem.

I have had issues with them falsely advertising MacBooks as "genuine refurbished" when they have been ex-lease, but in this instance, I think you are in the wrong and they are totally justified.

Hi
I bought a coupon OEQ65444338C from Yazoom and paid by $25 by credit card to Yazoom. The coupon was given to my mum to have lunch at Santa Lucia Restaurant at Mission Bay Auckland. Unfortunately my mum who is an old lady misplaced the coupon and when she found the coupon on 26 November, it has passed it expiry date by 10 days.I contacted Yazoom customer service and requested them for help to extend the coupon but they asked me to contact the Restaurant . When I contacted the restaurant, the Restaurant refuse my request. I then contacted Yazoom to refund my payment since I have paid $25 for food but no food was consume . My request was rejected by Yazoom.

I feel that since the resataurant was unable to extend my coupon to a later date and no food was consumed and no cost was incurred by the restaurant , I should be able to get back the money i paid to Yazoom. I hope you can give me your advice on this .
