- Most people are asleep when your new deals go live
- There is no anticipation of receiving that preview email 10 minutes before everyone else does (again, because you're asleep)
- There is no buying frenzy when the deal is totally awesome because there is no scarcity at midnight. You can take your time, sit back and relax (and carry on sleeping). Generating perceptions of scarcity is a powerful psychological effect that causes a buying frenzy
- You fail to generate excitement in one of your biggest potential customer segments: office workers. If the deals were at 12noon there would be excitement in offices all over Australia and that's when the idea spreads like an airborne virus

I visited an aussie coounterpart of a NZ day sale site by accident, they were offering over 40 items… perhaps that is why they dont have so many?
40? Wow. Imagine all the work that would go into setting up 40 new items every day.
Do you have a website that has good deals for travellers. We often got to Sydney and Melbourne and would love to take advantage of specials – trips, shows, massages etc
